چکیده

This paper presents the bending stress analysis of anisotropic plate material under transverse loading using a three-dimensional (3-D) theory. The static elastic theory was used to formulate total energy expression thereafter, transformed into compatibility equation through general variation get slope and deflection relationship. solution equations equilibrium gave rise exact polynomial function while coefficient shear deformation gotten from governing direct method. These solutions were obtain characteristic for analyzing displacement stresses rectangular plate. formula problem that is clamped at first-two edge other edges simply supported (CCSS). result decrease as span-thickness ratio increases. More so, aspect effect isotropic plates investigated discussed after comparative between present work previous studies. shows study differs refined (RPT) assumed by 5.5% whereas 2-D RPT 5.3%. efficacy 3-D flexural characteristics CCSS thick

Bending Analysis of Thick Isotropic Plates by Using 5th Order Shear Deformation Theory

A 5th order shear deformation theory considering transverse shear deformation effect as well as transverse normal strain deformation effect is presented for static flexure   analysis of simply supported isotropic plate. The assumed displacement field accounts for non-linear variation of in-plane displacements as well as transverse displacement through the plate thickness. The condition of zero ...

Analysis of Bending and Buckling of Circular Porous Plate Using First-Order Shear Deformation Theory

Porous materials are lightweight, flexible and resistant to hairline cracks, so today with the development of technology porous structure produced for use in various industries. This structure widely use in beams, plates and shells. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of porosity in axial symmetry in bending and buckling load sheet for analysis. For this purpose, a circular p...

Analysis of Wave Motion in a Micropolar Transversely Isotropic Medium

The present investigation deals with the propagation of waves in a micropolar transversely isotropic layer. Secular equations for symmetric and skew-symmetric modes of wave propagation in completely separate terms are derived. The amplitudes of displacements and microrotation were also obtained. Finally, the numerical solution was carried out for aluminium epoxy material and the dispersion curv...
